Windows 7 New Desktop

The buzz about Microsoft's future operating system, Windows 7, has been relatively quiet. I think a lot of people are still nursing the wound turned scar left by Vista. For those curious about what Microsoft has planned for your rig, here's a couple of videos showing off some of the new desktop features in Windows 7.

It is pretty. I'll give them that, but if this new OS turns out to be even more of a resource hog than Vista, then I'm going to skip it. I just had to rebuild my entire system due to my premature upgrade to Vista, which turned out be more trouble than it was worth. XP was not as pretty as Vista, but it got the same job done without stressing my PC.

I'll keep my eye on Windows 7, but I've definitely learned from my last mistake. Instead of jumping on this OS as soon as it hits the market, I'll give it a few months to get some general feedback on the pros and cons.
